At Cleansing Waters Wellness Center, we use the LIBBE (Lower Intestinal Bottom Bowel Evacuation ) colon hydrotherapy open system (U.S. FDA approved) that effectively and safely cleanses the colon (large intestine) of waste and toxins. The procedure involves a soothing flow of water through a carbon and ultraviolet purification system that removes any sediment, rust or chlorine before it enters your body. The water is temperature-regulated, instilled gently into the colon (large intestine) for maximum comfort through a pencil-thin, sterile and disposable rectal tube, which is self-inserted about 1 1/2 to 2 inches into the rectum. Your privacy and modesty are maintained at all times.
As the water gently circulates through your colon, it hydrates, soaks and loosens the waste, as well as stimulates the colon’s natural peristalsis (action of the muscles of the colon). There is no pressure in the flow of water as it is gravity-fed, resulting in a gentle cleanse. There is also a built-in vent system which ensures that the area remains odor-free. The tube only carries water to the colon. Any size fecal matter can be eliminated around the tube, so there is no need to interrupt the session to go to the restroom. A session lasts approximately 45 minutes. After each session the LIBBE is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
